Received this in my email today! I’m a huge fan of my Barclaycard Sallie Mae Mastercard thanks to the 5% cashback on grocery stores (up to $250 per month), 5% cashback on gas (up to $250 per month), and 5% cashback on bookstores, including Amazon.com (up to $750 per month). And of course the standard 1% cashback on everything else. I always recommend this card to my friends and family who aren’t really looking to play the travel hacking game but just want to earn the maximum cashback on the most common everyday spending categories.

Free $15 for Chase Sapphire or Chase Sapphire Preferred members when using Visa Checkout
Via Points, Miles, and Martinis, Visa Checkout is offering $15 statement credit if you pay with Visa Checkout on various online merchants using your Chase Sapphire or Chase Sapphire Preferred card. Offer is valid once per card, not per merchant unlike the Amex Checkout offer.
There doesn’t seem to be a minimum limit on the purchase amount, but we don’t know yet if you will receive a credit for amounts < $15. But if you buy something really cheap, then the risk might be worth it.

You can do so here.
I’d imagine it’s useful for those who don’t have an alternative to using a PPDMC, etc., or for those who have some checking account bonus tied to having a certain number of signature-based transactions. For me, it’s useful for Provident CU ’round-up’ matching (Doctor of Credit has a particularly good resource).
Amex saves the day
I think there are few friends out there that don’t know how much I love Amex (especially with the SPG promotion going on, I’m sure you’ve all seen me pump my links!). Over the course of my 10+ year membership with them (starting with Costco!), they have never ceased to impress me with their professional, helpful, and friendly customer service.
A couple times they’ve come through for me:
