Chase Priority Pass contact info in case you misplaced/forgot your card

A short and sweet post, something to file away for future reference in case you ever find yourself in a similar situation. This post is for you if you’re wondering:

  • Can I get into a Priority Pass lounge if I don’t have my card?
  • Will Priority Pass lounges accept just a card number if I don’t have a digital pass or physical card?
  • What should I do if I can’t find my Priority Pass card and don’t have enough time to request a new one?
  • Can I get my Priority Pass card number before it arrives in the mail?

A couple months ago, my mother was coming back to the US from an extended trip to Taiwan. However, she did not have a Priority Pass card on her. I also could not find it anywhere in the house, and we had never logged in online or in the app, so there was no record of it anywhere. Continue reading →

How to set up autopay on Jetblue Business card

Hi everyone, I just got my Jetblue Business and scoured their site for how to set up autopay. I couldn’t find it anywhere (their website rivals Bank of America’s in terms of user experience…), so I had to call their number to talk to a representative. Their number is 1-877-907-7470, and here are the instructions on how to set it up:

You must mail a letter (there’s no form) to: Continue reading →

Trip Report: ANA First Class Review NRT-SFO

Booking

This was the return flight for a roundtrip booking I made via Virgin Atlantic where we flew the first flight in May 2017. The points were transferred from Membership Rewards with the 30% bonus, and cost a total of 110k Virgin Atlantic miles plus $170 for the roundtrip. Divided equally between the two legs, that makes this flight 55k miles and $85. The value of the flight at time of booking was $9,920 for a cpm of 15.62. Since it is unrealistic to actually pay nearly $10k for a flight, the cheapest non-stop economy flight was $736.50 for a “real” cpm of 1.16. Prices for roundtrips are probably cheaper but let’s keep things simple for now… Continue reading →

Initial thoughts on Vietnam

I’m years behind on my trip reports, but I have always wanted to start getting into the habit of doing flight and hotel reviews, since I’ve found other bloggers’ reviews and especially their photos to be very helpful when planning my own travel. The problem is when you have like 10 flights and 6 hotels in a trip, and when you get back you’re really behind on everything and too tired… #excuses Continue reading →

Privacy.com and Ingo (UA MileagePlus GO) ban me for no reason?

Hi all, this is not going to be a very informative post, but just wanted to share a strange ban and see if anyone here has any light to shed on it or similar experience.

On 2/12, I signed up for Privacy.com (Doctor of Credit review here) so I could generate temporary credit card numbers (linked to bank account, but they have a 1% cashback program) mainly for the purpose of signing up for trials and such without having to give out my real credit card number and address. Choosing a Halong Bay Tour

Travel planning can be overwhelming. I’ve literally been spending hours and hours every day for several weeks planning my upcoming Vietnam trip. Choosing a Halong Bay tour, with literally hundreds of options, and also many scams, is one of those things that has taken me days. I can understand why some people would rather just pay someone a handsome fee to just get everything done for them in a trustworthy and stress-free manner. That’s why hopefully we as bloggers can help share some of the circles and arrows to help make such things easier. Since Shelli over at Travel With Grant already covered how to get a quick and easy $25 tourist e-Visa as a US citizen, all you need now are some flights, hotels, and some things to do! One of which is a tour of Halong Bay! (P.S. a lot of Halong Bay Tours provide free visas so you could save another $25 per person) Continue reading →

Card Organization Cases

Hi everyone, and hope you all had a great start to the New Year. I’ve been quite productive this week in cleaning, closing out 2017 spreadsheets and starting 2018 ones, and getting caught up on documentation and organization. I am getting a lot of new cards soon, so I went shopping on Aliexpress and Amazon for some new storage options. I decided to write a little post to share how I organize my army of credit cards, debit cards, loyalty cards, personal-use gift cards, and more. Continue reading →

Researching PADI Courses

Aloha everyone! Ever since a quick free scuba intro in the pool at the Intercontinental Fiji, my husband and I have been wanting to get certified. We always liked snorkeling, but everyone we know that is a certified diver has nothing but amazing things to say about it, and just looking at their videos alone is convincing.

We probably could have had many opportunities to get certified in a beautiful place in our myriad of travels the past couple years – Fiji, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii multiple times, Bahamas, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Thailand, Vietnam…but we were hardly ever in one place for more than a few days (classic #travelhacker problem). Getting certified usually requires a minimum of 2-3 days, and you aren’t supposed to fly for 24 hours after diving. Continue reading →

Two Virgin America Giveaways: $150 companion discount and 25% off a roundtrip flight

Merry Christmas! Hope you are all having a great holiday season. It’s my favorite time of year because I feel like people actively try to be much friendlier, kinder, and more generous.

Speaking of generous…I realized I would be letting two decently valuable coupons go unused on 12/31 if I didn’t quickly give them away, I would love to gift them to two people who could really make good use of them. Continue reading →
